One of Italy’s oldest cities, this cozy town offers you a relaxed stop. Its most famous treasure is the Cappella degli Scrovegni, a small yet impressive chapel adorned with Giotto’s stunning frescoes, considered one of the greatest achievements in Western art.

Another must-visit is the Basilica di Sant’Antonio, a significant pilgrimage site known for its grand architecture.

Short on Time? If you have to decide between Padua and Ravenna, we recommend the latter. The mosaics simply blew us away. You can even manage Ravenna in one day - with two nights it’s just more relaxed.

The Lagoon City

As the grand finale of your journey, Venice awaits - a city so unique, it has no equal in the world. Marvel at the Basilica di San Marco, adorned with shimmering mosaics, and climb the Campanile for a breathtaking view over the lagoon. Where to stay?

If you need budget-friendly options, than stay on the main land. By train it’s easy to get to Venice. However, if you can stay overnight in Venice itself! The atmosphere in the evening, when most of the day trippers is gone, is way more romantic.
